IGNOU BEd Admission 2025: Syllabus, Fees, Last Date

IGNOU BEd Admission 2026 registration has started as of January 29, 2026, via ignou-bed.samarth.edu.in, with the last date to apply being February 27, 2026; admission is based on an offline entrance exam. IGNOU Latest Update 2025:

1. IGNOU July admission 2025: IGNOU BEd admission 2025 last date to apply 15 September 2025, and interested students are advised to complete the admission process before the last date.
2. Re-registration for the BEd at IGNOU has been announced that it has been extended. Now, the last date is September 15, 2025, with a late fee of INR 200.
3. June TEE Results for BEd is updated by the university. The result can be checked on the official portal.

Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU BEd Admission

• Students must have secured atleast 50% mark in bachelor/master degree in science, social science, humanities or commerce.
• Must have obtained 55% mark in bachelroe of science or technology with science and mathematics main subjects. 
• Applicants with qualified entrance score 
• Students who have finished NCTE recognized teacher education programs in face to face mode are also eligible for Ignou BEd admission 2025. 
• Experienced elementary teachers are also qualified to be students of B.Ed in ODL mode. 

IGNOU BEd Admission Entrance Exam 2025 

Students applying for B.Ed program will have to appear for all india entrance exam conducted by indira gandhi national open university. B.Ed entrance exam was conducted on 16th March 2025. Students can expect results to be announced in the last week of June, which will be followed by a counseling round. 

• Students appearing for entrance exams will find hall tickets uploaded on IGNOU official website. 
• University has the whole right to set the date and place of entrance exam without being answerable. 
• PSC seats are limited to only 50. 
• Ignou BEd admission of students will be done if they have secured valid scores in the entrance exam. 

IGNOU B.Ed Syllabus

IGNOU offers BEd course for 2 years under four year undergraduate program (FYUP). B.Ed program is recognized by NCTE with the aim to develop students teacher with skills and understanding required for primary, secondary and senior secondary level of education.

Students must be very mindful while filling application forms. Look at the steps given below and apply for online B.Ed admission accordingly.

1. Visit Ignou official website. 
2. Click on “NEW REGISTRATION” and fill in required information.
3. Create a strong password and username. Do not forget your password. 
4. After completing, click on submit button.
5. Students need to remember that name and other documental details must be the same.
6. Enter currently used email address and phone number. 
7. Login through your password and username.
8. Fill in required details asked in Ignou BEd admission form 2025, including all educational and personal data. 
9. Upload scanned signature and photograph in less than 100 KB. including scanned copy of caste and experience certificate in less than 200 KB. 
10. Now, students can make fee payments through netbanking, credit card or debit card. 
11. students also need to do fee payment of the application form. Which is INR 300 non-refundable. 
12. Click on submit button after reviewing the form thoroughly. 
13. Keep the copy of fee receipt and confirmation mail.
